On March 19, 2021, in an opinion by Hon. James P. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, Cameron Bell obtained dismissal of a class action complaint filed against his client, BVU Authority. The lawsuit arose from certain electricity rate changes adopted by the Tennessee Valley Authority. Judge Jones granted the motion to dismiss on grounds of lack of federal subject matter jurisdiction. Job well done!
