PennStuart congratulates Danielle Stone on her appointment to the Character and Fitness Committee of the Virginia Board of Bar Examiners. The Committee is charged with making recommendations to the Board, an agency of the Supreme Court of Virginia, regarding licensure of applicants to the Virginia State Bar. Ms. Stone is an Officer in the firm’s Abingdon, Virginia office and practices in the areas of professional liability, insurance defense and civil litigation. Her practice is devoted to defending long term care facilities in all phases of the litigation process and in formal mediation and arbitration proceedings. She provides guidance on day-to-day operational issues for long term care facilities and advises clients on the complex array of regulatory compliance matters affecting the long term care industry. Ms. Stone also serves as Chairperson of the firm’s Recruiting Committee. She is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Virginia and Tennessee.
