Rachel Bowen is a business attorney in PennStuart’s Bristol office. Rachel focuses her practice on business transactions, commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, and energy-related matters.
Before joining PennStuart, Rachel served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General & Reporter, where she represented the interests of Tennesseans before the Tennessee Public Utility Commission. Rachel also practiced appellate litigation at an AM Law 200 firm in Florida.
Rachel has extensive experience in both the state and the federal judiciary. Rachel clerked for the Honorable David A. Faber of the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, the Honorable Alan O. Forst of the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal, and the Honorable Norma S. Lindsey of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. During law school, Rachel also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Paul M. Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys teaching exercise classes at the YMCA and spending time outdoors in the East Tennessee and North Carolina mountains.
