Carrie is an Associate in PennStuart’s Abingdon office and is a member of the firm’s Insurance Defense and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Following law school, she clerked for the Hon. James P. Jones in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Carrie graduated magna cum laude from the Washington and Lee School of Law where she served as Lead Online Editor on Law Review. She also served as summer law clerk at the Children’s Law Center in Washington, D.C., working on the Guardian ad Litem Education Team.
Prior to law school, Carrie obtained her Master’s Degree in Education and taught school. She joined Teach for America and worked as a fifth grade teacher at a STEM academy in Nashville. She also taught in the Johnson City, Tennessee School System. Carrie enjoys traveling and is a Tennessee sports fan.
