Law Students Our summer program gives law students hands-on experience and real-life insight into the workings of an established, multi-practice law firm. By working with as many different attorneys, and in as many practice areas as possible, summer associates are exposed to a wide variety of “real work” opportunities. Duties include researching and analyzing complex issues; drafting letters, agreements, or briefs; assisting attorneys in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials; and attending legal proceedings with Officers and Associates. A rotation schedule between our offices allows increased exposure to areas of practice and more focused interaction with various attorneys. The firm also sponsors informal gatherings and social activities to allow the summer associate to learn about the recreational and cultural resources of our area, and to get to know the attorneys and staff of the firm in more personal, relaxed settings.
