Summer Clerkships

Our summer program provides law students with experience and insight into the workings of an established, multi-practice law firm. By working with as many different attorneys in as many practice areas as possible, summer associates are exposed to a wide variety of “real work” opportunities. Duties include researching and analyzing complex issues; drafting letters, agreements, or briefs; assisting attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials; and attending a variety of legal proceedings.  A rotation schedule between offices allows for increased exposure to multiple areas of practice and better interaction with several attorneys. PennStuart also sponsors informal gatherings and social activities to allow summer associates to learn more about the recreational and cultural resources of our area and interact with attorneys and staff in a more personal, relaxed settings.  For law students seeking summer clerkships, please submit your cover letter and detailed resume to:

Lateral Attorneys

We seek and value the knowledge and skills of experienced lateral attorneys.
