Timothy W. Gresham is an Officer in PennStuart's Abingdon, Virginia office. He represents clients in workers' compensation and occupational disease matters and advises clients on issues involving mineral rights and regulations, as well as environmental and safety matters. Before joining the firm, Mr. Gresham served as Assistant Attorney General of Virginia. In this capacity, he was involved in the enforcement of laws relating to the mining and oil and gas industries.
Mr. Gresham is active in the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation, serving on its Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. He assumed the duties of President in June 2004 and served as Vice President from 2003-2004. Mr. Gresham has made numerous seminar and conference presentations concerning mineral and environmental law and regulation. He has also published many articles relating to mineral and environmental law topics. He is a past member of the Board of Governors of the Environmental Law Section of the Virginia State Bar.
